CENTRE STAGE Possibly the best thing about 'Centre Stage' was that we had promised and then achieved this romping, multi-mega-fun variety show! And what unbeatable joy and co-operation our cast did not experience: 21 artistes entwining 33 different numbers in 22 items by veterans, newcomers, youngsters and a professional trio on stage under the enthusiastic direction of Belinda Batt & Co all within just 4 weeks of rehearsal. It's no wonder that our theatre critic stated: 'This slick family spectacular can be adequately summed up by the title of Jeff Batt's show-stopping number "That's Entertainment"'. Bravo, bravissimo to each and all! We thought we would warm your hearts on the nights and matinées of the sudden cold and wet winter that befell us.
