The enclosed garden has barbecue facilities and seating. Adjacent to this is a solar-heated indoor swimming pool with a lounge area for your use. A single garage with automated door is included through which discreet access to the unit can be made.

With the facilities at your disposal you will find self catering an easy option. Supermarkets with all the familiar quality products you are used to (and some), are close to hand. You will be surprised with the low prices of fresh fruit, vegetables, seafood, choice meats and game. Likewise, the many Cape wines are really good buys.

You will also be astounded with the low cost of dining out, be it at a top class restaurant, steakhouse or the local McDonalds. Oh – and yes, you can get your pizza home delivered.

Wish you were here?Peninsula & False Bay

Complete with a world class beach, Fish Hoek is a lovely resort on the Indian Ocean side of the Cape Peninsula. It is within easy reach of the City of Cape Town, which embraces Parliament Buildings, Die Kasteel, The Gardens, the Victoria & Albert Waterfront (V&A) and a host of galleries and places of historical interest.

Overlooking all this is the majestic Table Mountain. Taking a cable car to the top is an absolute must, for the view over the city, Table Bay, its harbour, and the once prison island home of Nelson Mandela – Robben Island, is truly stunning.
The view is stunning

The Peninsula is also home to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve & Cape Point, Simon's Town with its historic Naval Base, Groot Constantia Wine Estate, Kirstenbosch National Gardens, Hout Bay (World of Birds and boat trips to Seal Island), and many more. Entertainment, shopping, craft & curio markets, restaurants and fast food outlets are also close to hand.

Late August is maternity time for mother Southern Right Whales who come into the warm shallow waters to calve. The many whale sightings in the waters off Fish Hoek can last well into November. Southern Right Whales

On the otherhand, the Jackass Penguin colony at the International Heritage Site – Boulders Beach, is well worth a visit at any time of the year.
